From the 1st of January, the Government has set up a single window for all questions or issues related to housing assistance, including:
- socio-economic assistance
- PRIMe House assistance
- KlimaBank, for interest-free or low-interest climate loans
- LENOZ (Lëtzebuerger Nohaltegkeets-Zertifizéierung), for sustainable housing.
Thus, all information or questions concerning housing assistance from the Ministry of Housing but also from the Ministry of Environment will be collected in the same place. Contact persons will be available by telephone but also at a reception desk in Luxembourg City (11 rue de Hollerith).
The aim of this programme is to be closer to citizens, many of which are unable to claim property in the Grand Duchy due to a lack of means, as well as to provide reliable assistance to all private individuals who wish to benefit from housing assistance such as tax credit and tax advantages.
Housing remains an absolute priority of the Luxembourg Government. Increasingly more solutions are being considered and set up to develop Luxembourg housing, and to make it accessible at affordable prices.
Until March, the Ministry of Housing is organising conferences to present the possibilities of housing assistance, housing-related tax benefits as well as rental management. Here is the calendar to take part:
- 2nd February: Luxembourg
- 16th February: Troisvierges
- 2nd March: Remich
- 8th March: Mamer
- 15th March: Diekirch
These conferences will start at 7pm so that as many people as possible may take part in them outside of working hours.
