With the return of winter and of the cold, the need for heating becomes essential. With the different systems that exist, you will be spoiled for choice.

Each type of heating corresponds to a need for comfort and energy saving. It should be noted that each dwelling has its own specificities. Gas, oil, electricity, wood or solar energy, heat pump or auxiliary heating: all have their share of advantages and disadvantages. Follow the guide!

Gas

It is easy to use and offers a relatively clean combustion, but its price is subject to strong variations.

Electricity

This energy does not generate any direct pollution. It does not require storage but has a high cost.

Fuel oil

It is easily stored in tanks and allows several months of autonomy. It is not, however, the most ecological method of heating.

Wood

This the most economical source of energy. It is renewable and reasonable in terms of price. It does, however, require a large storage space and regular restocking.

Solar

Solar is the ecological energy source par excellence. It covers all the energy needs of the house (heating, hot water and electricity). This system is economical even if it does require expensive installation and auxiliary heating during the least sunny periods.

The heat pump

It has the immense advantage of not using any energy source, except for its operation, and just like the gas boiler, it covers the heating and hot water needs of the house.

Auxiliary heating

You may not be satisfied with your current heating system. The solution: opt for individual heating also known as auxiliary heating. There are several types: oil or gas stove, electric radiator or electric oil radiator, convection heater, fan heater, etc. This is often an economic and ecological solution provided it does not become the main source of heating.
