2017: New Year’s Resolutions for Owners
10 января 2017 г.
Last week, we gave you some ideas for New Year’s resolutions for tenants. This week it’s the landlords’ turn!
Go greener
Don’t put off those insulation jobs, that will save you on heating and electricity, any longer! Besides doing a good deed for the planet, you’ll be able to reduce your bills, and you will feel much more comfortable at home.
Get down to action
You’ve waited long enough. It’s time to knuckle down to the that shower fitting which needs sprucing up, the electrical socket in the lounge which is hanging untidily, or that lightbulb which has been US for 3 months. You can bet your life that in the space of one day, you will have sorted all those little jobs that weren’t so terrible to do.
Renegotiate your mortgage
If it hasn’t been done recently, it’s time to rush headlong to your mortgage provider! Rates have tumbled these last months, and a tendency to rise has been forecast for the start of this year. You’ll certainly be able to take advantage of the low rates and gain a few months or years of credit. You’ve everything to gain, so don’t hang about! Contact our partner ING for a revaluation of your mortgage.
Check your insurance policies
They have a reputation for being costly… until the moment you need them. Don’t skimp on options for your property and cover yourself properly. Compare your guarantees with other insurers and check you have all you need. Our partner Lalux Assurances is ready to listen.
